Founded in 1952 in an iconic pink building dating back to 1885, it was revitalised by Pablo Rivero and Guido Tassi — the team behind Don Julio — to become a Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants listing and a Michelin Guide recommendation, without losing an ounce of the bodegón soul that made it great.

El Preferido de Palermo delivers a root Argentine cuisine, executed with the same obsession for quality ingredients that defines Don Julio. The sirloin milanesa is the signature dish — tender, fried with almost no oil and served with a classic tomato sauce. Master butcher Tassi's house-made charcuterie — chacarero salami, bondiola and aged pancetta — complete a menu that pays homage to the city's immigrant cooking traditions.
